About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, parents, immigrants, and survivors of domestic violence. I support clients navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, parenting stress, women’s issues, and anxiety. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based care, helping clients feel understood and empowered as they move toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I take an eclectic, evidence‑based approach because people’s lives rarely fit into one method. I use CBT, trauma‑focused practices, and strength‑based strategies to help clients clarify their needs, understand their patterns, and build a path forward. I’m a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, a Certified Mental Health Ally through the Military Spouse Advocacy Network, and a Certified Professional Life Coach. I hold a BS in Psychology and an MSW from Kennesaw State University. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, grounded, and capable of creating meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a mother of three, a military spouse, and a native Spanish speaker, I value resilience, community, and connection. I believe in creating spaces where people feel safe to explore their experiences without judgment. I’m committed to supporting families, advocating for survivors, and honoring the strengths that clients bring to therapy. I enjoy nature, quiet moments with loved ones, and work that uplifts others. These values guide the way I show up in the therapy room—present, compassionate, and focused on helping clients move toward the life they want.
