My Background and Approach
My name is Lorena Soto-Bunker LMFT., M.Ed. I am Bilingual - Spanish/English speaking. I have been working with families and individuals for the past 15 years. Together, we will explore and identify the tools and resources necessary to rise above each challenge you are experiencing. We will work on mutually agreed upon goals, drawing on your personal resources of motivation and hope to create long lasting change. My therapeutic style includes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and creative arts exercises. Do you have a history of trauma or substance abuse? How about difficulties with emotion regulation or decision making? What about an overall feeling of low self-esteem or self-worth?
