About My Clients
I personally know that reaching out for help can be difficult. This is the first step to your healing journey. My goal is to help you gain empowerment, confidence and autonomy to reach your full potential. This is a collaborative approach, therefore, we will work together to develop goals and find solutions that can help you navigate life at ease
My Background and Approach
Our therapeutic relationship will center in providing you with a safe, non-judgmental, comfortable and validating space for you. I provide psychotherapy for children and adults experiencing a wide variety of struggles such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, self-esteem, and major life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida with more than five years of experience. I have obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. I have continued to further my knowledge on trauma informed therapy and family and couple’s work by attending several trainings. I am well versed in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Couples Therapy Level I and II, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). In addition to my trainings, I always shared a passion for helping individuals that identify in the LGBTQ and Latinx community. I have provided professional workshops and I’m continuously advocating for mental health rights. I also actively collaborate in academic research focused on multicultural counseling. I have presented topics tailored to the Latinx population at the 2021 American Counseling Association Conference.
