With approximately 10 years of experience, I have worked in different settings, in different modalities and with different clients; specializing in working with and through trauma, grief, substance use, behavioral issues and mood disorders. I utilize CBT, T-CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and other modalities. I work with kids, teens, adults and elderly
My Background and Approach
Over the 10 + year span, I have learned and perfected many tools that can be used to help people just like you. My goal will be to assist you on your journey in identifying what you need and how to get to the next step in your goal. Let us take this journey together. You want a change in your life for the moment or for the future, and I want to assist in helping you get there. We do not need to live through the hard times alone. As cliche as it is, I do believe there is a silver lining in everything, meaning let me help try to reconnect you with the hope and light you are looking for. I have worked before with learning how to manage depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, trauma symptoms and a range of other symptoms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that everything in life should be a balance. Reality becomes that some days the scale tips to the other side, and we find ourselves feeling stressed, alone, hopeless, angry and impulsive. We begin to search for an answer or a way to fill that void that we feel. My Job is to listen, to be supportive, to be genuine and to assist in guiding you to find that balance in your life that you are searching for.
