About My Clients

I work with clients who are navigating significant life changes or losses—whether that's a shift in life stage, gender transition, coming out, receiving a new diagnosis, coping with chronic illness, or experiencing grief, a breakup, or job loss. My clients are often seeking support in making sense of their unique experiences. I offer a compassionate and affirming space to process, adapt, and explore new meaning on the other side of change.

My Background and Approach

I’ve been a practicing therapist for over 10 years, working in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside expressive therapies and narrative approaches. I believe in the power of the mind-body connection, movement, and creative expression as vital parts of the healing process. My work is collaborative and client-centered, honoring each person’s unique story while helping them build practical skills for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and finding the changes they want to make.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in a holistic approach to healing and have personally explored a variety of practices, including functional medicine, acupuncture, expressive therapy, yoga, and meditation. I’m open to diverse philosophies and deeply believe that there is no single “right” path to wellness—each journey is unique. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I’m actively involved with pride organizations and committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces. Lately, I’ve been leaning into my own spiritual growth, allowing it to inform both my personal and professional life. Outside of work, you’ll often find me hiking, baking, or painting with watercolors. A significant loss early in my life set me on a lifelong path of rebuilding attachment and cultivating self-compassion—work that continues to shape who I am and how I show up for others.
