About My Clients
NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME My expertise lies in working with adolescents and adults who are dealing with the death of a loved one, experiencing conflict in important relationships, exploring their identity, or having challenges in regulating their emotions or stress.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to create an inclusive, serene, non-judgmental atmosphere where you will feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, values, memories, and identity. I have worked in a variety of settings including schools (middle school and college level,) non-profit agencies, and private practice. I have had extensive training in DBT, IFS, and EMDR and integrate techniques from these theoretical approaches as appropriate. I approach therapy holistically believing that physical, emotional, and spiritual health are all interconnected. Whether you are coping with a difficult experience or are dealing with long-term issues such as anxiety, depression, or childhood traumas, counseling can be an effective tool in healing your discomfort.
