About My Clients
My areas of focus are trauma and PTSD in adults, childhood trauma, anxiety in children and adolescents, emotional regulation and coping skills, and life transitions and stress related to trauma. I work best with adults who are ready to engage in trauma-focused work and with families seeking compassionate support for children experiencing anxiety or trauma. As a bilingual therapist, I value the importance of language and cultural understanding in therapy and strive to create an inclusive space.
My Background and Approach
My work is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices. I take time to understand how trauma affects the mind, body, emotions, and relationships, and I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs and developmental stage. ith adults, I focus on creating a space where you feel safe enough to process difficult experiences while also developing tools to feel more grounded and empowered in daily life. With children, therapy is developmentally appropriate, gentle, and supportive, helping them express emotions, reduce anxiety, and regain a sense of safety. I also collaborate with parents and caregivers to support healing outside the therapy room. Clients often describe me as warm, patient, and understanding. I approach therapy with empathy and curiosity, honoring each person’s story while gently guiding the healing process. Sessions are paced thoughtfully, ensuring that work feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
