My Background and Approach
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR. I believe in a holistic/eclectic approach to treatment and meeting the client where they are to assist them in where they want to be. I also offer a unique understanding and appreciation for those who are also in the helping profession. Anxiety, depression or trauma can lead us to restrict our thinking and behaviors in order to protect ourselves from pain. Our therapeutic relationship will dive into a mutual exploration of your strengths and values so you can live a full and more meaningful life.
