My Background and Approach
Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I have a 20+ year background in providing counseling and psychotherapeutic services to integrated behavioral health patients of all ages, from the chronically mentally ill, self-esteem problems, relationship problems, spirituality concerns, identity issues, those who suffer from terminal medical illnesses, in addition to those battling severe chemical dependency problems. I also have experience in providing therapy for inmates as well, because I know that no one is beyond receiving therapy and we can all apply it. I believe in using best practice and proven techniques to treat clinical disorders in a multi-dimensional fashion, making certain to address the subjective, biological, and chemical aspects of issues, problems, and challenges being addressed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a non-traditional, non-conventional therapist, and believe in meeting my clients where they are. I truly believe that a competent therapist is able to understand their clients' personal orientations no matter where they are in their lives, and arrange a set of therapies they can apply in order to best reach the clients and help them understand how to use therapeutic principles for healing.
