About My Clients
My passions are adult ADHD and Perinatal Mental Health. ADHD is so often overlooked in adults. Learning ways to cope and function better with ADHD can be life changing; I know it was for me. Perinatal Mental Health, the times before and after having a child, can be the most loving and rewarding, but for some it can also be one of the darkest and most difficult times we may face. Having support, understanding, and information can make a world of difference!
My Background and Approach
I am a therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of FL and NC. I have a MSW degree, and have been clinically licensed as an LCSW for 8 years. I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship and parenting challenges, and PTSD. I specialize further in teens and adults with ADHD, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD/PPD), and couples. I am also very experienced in working with military members and their families and obstacles they face. I encourage doing a free phone/video consultation to ensure we are a good match!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is worthy simply for existing. A big part of my approach is having total acceptance, no judgement, and meeting you where you are. Your values and what is important to you is an integral part of therapy. I look forward to working with you!!
