About My Clients
You might be here because the parts of you that have been holding it all together can't anymore. It may feel like you're screaming but no one can hear you. Maybe you have relationship and intimacy issues, are trying to figure out your sexuality, are dealing with addictive or compulsive behaviors. Maybe when you sit and close your eyes and look inward, you don't like what's there. It might even scare you. If the dam is broken and there's no holding it in anymore, I can help you ride the waves.
My Background and Approach
I'm a fully licensed therapist who has spent several years working with men. I use two primary models of therapy, Acceptance & Integration Training (AAIT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I apply these two models differently with each client, but generally, they work like this. IFS is like exploratory surgery: a way to get in, look around, and understand what's going on inside of you and why. AAIT then works to quickly heal those wounded places, bringing you into a place of balance, groundedness, and calm. My approach is not like traditional talk therapy. It's very experiential and structured, but I've chosen my approaches because I've found them to be the most reliable and the most rapid ways of healing. I work from a trauma-informed and trauma-focused approach that tends to feel organic and unforced for my clients. We can all dive deeper when we know we're not diving alone.
