About My Clients
My ideal client is someone in transition—grappling with trauma, change, loss, or self-doubt—who’s ready to explore their inner world, heal old patterns, and move toward a more grounded, authentic version of themselves.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a blend of Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, and Relational therapy to help clients understand their emotional patterns and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-trust. My background spans hospitals, schools, and private practice, giving me a deep appreciation for the many ways people adapt, survive, and ultimately heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on you — your story, your body, and your intuition. As a white woman and therapist, I know I can’t fully understand what it’s like to live in another body or with different layers of privilege, and I hold that with intention. I stay mindful of the energy I bring and how identity, culture, gender, and social roles shape our experiences. My background as a crisis worker, hospital social worker, and trauma-focused clinician gives me deep respect for the strength people carry. I support clients healing from trauma, childhood wounds, and generational patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Trauma isn’t something you “get over”; it lives in the body until it’s processed and integrated. Emotional safety is central to my work. I offer a space without judgment or assumption and follow your intuition about what feels right. Healing is personal and collective, and my role is to help you return to your own wisdom.
