Accepting Clients

I'm Lizette and I like working from a holistic (mind-body) approach because you don't exist simply between your ears.

About My Clients

I work with people who are insightful, intuitive, and tired of shrinking themselves to fit. People who want to feel safe in their bodies, trust their instincts, and speak up for themselves. If you're a woman or gender queer person in their 20s, 30s, 40s and you're mostly high functioning but need some support to get more grounded and in tune with your emotions, we might be a good fit!

My Background and Approach

I’m Lizette Larned, and I help people navigate life’s challenges with a holistic, mind-body approach. My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but linear—much like life itself. I’ve explored many fields that inform my work today, from researching how environment and media shape development to working as a birth doula, supporting families in one of life’s most vulnerable transitions. I specialize in working with people with ADHD, Autism, and women’s health. I understand firsthand the importance of feeling truly seen and supported, especially in times of transition, self-discovery, and healing. My approach is compassionate, non-pathologizing, and deeply informed by research, somatic work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). If you're looking for a therapist who gets the complexities of neurodivergence, the deep emotional layers of reproductive health, or the process of rebuilding identity after leaving a high-demand religion, you’re in the right place.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value health, wealth, safety, pleasure, honesty and self awareness. I think that people thrive when they're well supported and taking an active part in their own well being and meaning making. I've volunteered with at risk children, building homes with low income families in rural Utah, and collecting menstrual hygiene products for people who needed them. I value and actively seek current scientific research to inform my work. Being a birth doula taught me that self advocacy is one of the most valuable skills womxn can learn, especially in medical settings.
