About My Clients

Are you navigating grief, anxiety, or feeling stuck in your identity? Do you feel disconnected from yourself, your community, or your cultural roots? Whether you're facing a new life transition or hoping for more balance, I’m here to support you. I work with BIPOC individuals to find healing and connection. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel seen and empowered, using a holistic, decolonial approach to guide you toward growth and balance. Let’s take the next step together.

My Background and Approach

The approaches I bring to our sessions are grounded in my education and experience working with individuals navigating challenges like grief, anxiety, and identity struggles. With a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and experience both locally and internationally, I’ve developed a flexible, holistic framework that adapts to each person’s unique needs. Sessions focus on building practical tools to create a sense of grounding, connection, and balance. Using a collaborative approach, we’ll explore what’s happening in the mind and body while addressing deeper patterns that might feel overwhelming. Rooted in a decolonial perspective and relational-cultural theory, this work goes beyond addressing surface-level concerns, fostering resilience and clarity in times of transition or uncertainty. The goal is to cultivate lasting growth and empowerment while honoring individual strengths and values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As an Indigenous Chicana therapist, I approach healing with a focus on justice, connection, and cultural authenticity. My work is shaped by a commitment to uplifting BIPOC communities and honoring ancestral wisdom. Speaking Spanish is also central to how I view the world, as it connects me to my roots and helps create an inclusive space where language and culture are celebrated. Beyond the therapy room, I’m passionate about promoting Indigenous Ways of Knowing and supporting those on journeys of sobriety and reconnection. I draw strength from my cultural practices and find joy in music, nature, and building meaningful relationships. These values guide not only my professional practice but also how I show up in the world. I aim to bring a sense of balance, authenticity, and possibility to the work we do together, holding space for growth and transformation in a way that aligns with each person’s unique path.
