About My Clients
Have you experienced challenging life experiences? Maybe you have experienced anxiety, depression, sleeping issues, issues with interpersonal relationships or are practicing avoidance, etc.... My Background and Approach
I believe that we don't all heal in the same way. My goal is to help you find your own path to relief from whatever you are experiencing, we will work together to this end. For the last nine years my practice has been focused on helping people like you heal obtain relief from the impact of traumatic experiences. I am an EMDR certified therapist and I incorporate elements of ACT and Sand tray and parts work into my work with clients. With my youngest clients I utilize play therapy as a means to process traumatic experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a bilingual Latina born and raised in Houston, Texas a first-generation college grad and the proud daughter of immigrants. I have worked in rape crisis centers, domestic violence centers and children's assessment centers as well as healthcare agencies for most of my career. When I am not in the therapy space you can catch me reading a book or catching a good movie.
