About My Clients
My ideal client is navigating significant life transitions, feeling overwhelmed or stuck. They often struggle with anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, impacting their daily lives or relationships. They need a safe space to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies. Their goals include achieving emotional balance, improving self-esteem, and fostering healthier relationships. Ultimately, they want to feel empowered and in control, seeking happiness to cultivate a more fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
My background includes working in inpatient hospital settings, where I guided adolescents coping with severe depression, anxiety, and anger through group therapy and crisis intervention. I have collaborated closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to provide individualized treatment plans that address both emotional and behavioral needs. In addition, I have worked in a Catholic nonprofit group practice offering therapy in Spanish to clients of all ages and couples, as well as supporting children with autism in both group and individual settings. My therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based care, with the goal of helping each client feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. I strive to create a supportive environment where young women and mothers can reduce stress, strengthen self-worth, and build resilience as they navigate life’s challenges
