About My Clients
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable women who appear strong on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable. You may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, over-responsibility, or difficulty relaxing. Often these responses are rooted in childhood or relational trauma and shaped by family dynamics, cultural expectations, or social pressures about who you needed to be to feel safe or belong.
My Background and Approach
My work centers on helping women heal from long-standing relational and childhood trauma that continues to shape anxiety, boundaries, and self-trust. I take a trauma-informed, relational approach grounded in nervous system awareness, integrating somatic therapy and EMDR to help you feel less reactive, steadier in your body, and clearer in your decisions. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtfully paced. We build internal stability before moving into deeper processing so the work feels supportive rather than overwhelming. I am certified through BRIA to support women navigating perimenopause and menopausal transitions, where hormonal shifts can intensify stress, mood changes, and identity shifts. Clients often describe my style as grounded and gently direct—supportive while still helping them move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our histories shape how we move through the world, and that many of the patterns we struggle with once helped us cope. I hold deep respect for how identity, culture, relationships, and environment influence our inner lives. Growth doesn’t come from pushing harder; it grows from safety, curiosity, and honest reflection. Outside of my work, I’m drawn to creativity, time in nature, good food shared with people I care about, and quiet evenings with my dog (who sometimes snores through virtual sessions). In therapy, I make space for grief and joy, strength and uncertainty, trusting that change becomes possible when we feel understood rather than judged.
