About My Clients
I work with people who have experienced traumas or other hardships that are impacting their ability to thrive. I help give them tools to work through symptoms like depression, anxiety, anger outbursts, and difficulty regulating various emotions. I also specialize in relationship issues, including conflict resolution, communication skills, and building emotional connections. I help people better understand themselves and practice healthy ways to cope with all of life's stressors.
My Background and Approach
This therapeutic space isn’t about quick fixes or polished slogans. It’s about understanding your story, strengthening your emotional development, and offering guidance grounded in clinical training. I have years of walking alongside people through change, healing traumas, resolving conflicts, and building lives with meaning and purpose. If you are looking for someone who brings both professional expertise and a genuinely human approach, I’m here to do that work with you in a way that honors who you are and where you are going.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was born and raised in Ukraine until my family immigrated to the United States when I was 12 years old. That was my crash lesson on change and adaptability. I had to learn a new language, a new culture, a new world view, and then figure out how to integrate it all with who I was already becoming. What happened is I became endlessly curious about the world and about people. My curiosity led me to a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Washington University, and then a doctorate degree from Argosy University in Hawaii. Since then, I have carved a path of discovery for myself as an individual and as a clinician. I love learning people's stories, understanding their inner world, and being a confidant who has the training and experience to help them become curious about their own stories. I believe curiosity is our best tool in understanding ourselves and how to get to where we are wanting to go.
