About My Clients
I specialize in supporting clients to navigate life changes, manage stress and anxiety, address relationship challenges and process grief. I enjoy working with individuals looking to improve their relationship with themselves and am rooted in self-compassion and a health at every size framework.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma informed, strengths based, eclectic practitioner who offers a warm, supportive environment to navigate change. Together we will identify and work through barriers and challenges, both internal and external. Although this can be challenging work, I embrace humor and creativity, and will encourage you to do the same. Every client is different, and I tailor my approach accordingly. I enjoy working with individuals across the life span with an emphasis on children, adolescents and young adults, parents and other caregivers. When working with adults my approach is person-centered and incorporates elements of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapies to support inner exploration. When working with younger clients I use an attachment-based framework and employ expressive and play therapies, as well as more traditional modalities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I tend to look at the world through the lens of relationships. In therapy I invite you to explore your relationship with yourself, others, and how you relate to the world around you. It’s so common to find ourselves in patterns, relationships, or concepts of self that no longer serve us. I look to affirm and bring out the strengths in every person who enters my office, and hope we have the opportunity to work together!
