About My Clients
I work with Individuals, Couples and Family located in Oregon and Washington. Clients find their way to me when they are seeking support and strategies to navigate challenges of ADHD, Women's Health themes (peri-menopause, menopause, PMS, PMDD, prenatal, post-partum, infertility, choosing to be child-free), Relationship Issues, Self-Esteem, Major Life Transitions, Grief, Anxiety and Depression. Together we explore ways to address current concerns and set sustainable goals for growth & change.
My Background and Approach
My training in Couples & Family Therapy shaped my approach of viewing all clients, individual or otherwise, as a part of their relationship networks. Whether a person is seeking therapy for individual, relational therapy, their bonds with others are part of the story. I also have an educational and work background in Anthropology, Psychology, Landscape Architecture & Architecture. My approach can be described as client-centered and holistic. I integrate Experiential, Emotion Focused, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance & Commitment (ACT), Mindfulness and Somatic therapies. In session, I aim to cultivate a felt sense of safety, warmth, humor, and curiosity from which we can address therapeutic goals and face challenges together. Therapy sessions with me typically feel like a supportive dialogue, holding space for the emotional and physical experiences that arise and exploring discomfort together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that growth, healing and change is available to each of us at any point in our lives. My priority is to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to address whatever is bringing you into therapy. Therapy sessions with me typically feel like a supportive and relaxed conversation. While we may address challenging stuff together, you are always in control of what we talk about and when.
