About My Clients

I thrive with clients who know it's time for a change & are ready to do the work, but recognize they may need a navigator to find the path. Whether that change is recovering from trauma, strengthening your mental health, or breaking out of unhelpful loops in your relationship, I offer the support needed to face the hard stuff & make meaningful change possible. I have worked with clients from just about every sphere of life, but I have found the shared foundation of all therapeutic progress has b

My Background and Approach

I specialize in being the 'push' and challenging voice needed to help both individuals and couples get 'unstuck;' I help people get stuff done. I have devoted experience as an expert provider for survivors of DV, SA and childhood trauma; with military and emergency-responders; as a proud LGBTQ+ ally; & as an open supporter of clients in addiction recovery. Stylistically, I am tender & hopeful and also frank & direct. I believe one of a therapist's most important jobs is speaking from a place of empathetic honesty & respecting people enough to tell them the truth; without reality, no real change is possible. My approach is straight-forward, strength-based and pragmatic; I work best with folks who value the same

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in staying curious, radicalized kindness, and being in on the joke about the absurdity of life. I am a seeker, with ongoing inquisitiveness about creating my best possible version of self. I strive to be a person who, at the end of my journey, gave more than she took. Aside from therapizing and learning stuff, I like to spend my time engaged in good banter, growing flowers, being a schmedium-talent artist, and anthropomorphizing my rescue mutts. A client once described me as a "pragmatic hippie," which is probably a pretty solid description.
