My Background and Approach
I bring a holistic yet eclectic approach to counseling, which means I will adapt her interventions to the unique needs of the client. I incorporate person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more as I journey with the client through personal changes. I have a familiarity with a multitude of concerns including but not limited to: Addiction, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Career Counseling, Chronic Illness/Pain, Depression, Dual Diagnosis, Eating Disorders, Grief, and Self-Esteem. I have a vast experience working with both men and women, licensed professionals, LGBTQIA+, military and their families. Growing up in a military family, I understand the struggle of that lifestyle and have a passion for working with children and families to overcome the many transitions that we must face on a continuing basis.
