About My Clients
Want to make changes in their lives, are willing to trying new ways of thinking and communicating, and open to explore themselves toward a path of growth and healing.
My Background and Approach
Throughout life, people receive messages about who they should be, are allowed to be, and how they should express themselves. In our work, we will explore these messages, identify what serves them and ways to let the rest go. The overarching goal is to help people believe in themselves and strengthen their own voice. My theoretical orientation borrows from Narrative Therapy, Internalized Oppression, and Transpersonal Theory. I use pieces from other modalities like CBT and DBT when most beneficial for working with individuals. Blending each throughout treatment to reach each individual's specific goals. Overall, my approach is person-centered, filled with empathy, and a mutually building a supportive space to grow and thrive. We will work together to understand your goals and develop a plan to know the work we are doing is beneficial. Please reach out to begin your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All people have inherent goodness! All people deserve Respect and Compassion! That bias, like racism, sexism, xenophobia, transphobia, and sexuality bias exists and deeply impact people from these groups. The role of mental health is to provide a safe space for people to explore these impacts and to hold the space for people impacted by bias to feel safe.
