About My Clients
Feeling like life is always throwing something your way? Always a new obstacle to overcome? It can take a while to build ourselves up and find that stability again. We all need support to help us get through what life throws at us as you know what tomorrow will bring.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in this field since I was 18. I have worked with individuals with developmental disabilities, refugees and immigrants, those in crisis in emergency room/ inpatient settings, homeless shelters, and talk therapy. The very first thing I learned in this field is the importance of communication. With good communication we can build a strong, trusting relationship where you know undoubtedly I will be there as a support for you. Whether its venting, reviewing options, finding new perspectives, or learning new skills to help up adapt to what life throws at us.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an open minded, non-judgmental individual. I don't follow any one specific religion but do believe in all. I had focused on difference in cultures for a large period of my career and find that the difference in religions and culture is beautiful, yet can be challenging while adapting to society standards. I do often take the spiritual route and refer to "life" and what lessons it is trying to teach us.
