I believe that people are the experts of their lives and my role is to help facilitate the changes individuals want to make in their lives. It is my goal to create a safe and trusting environment to address an individuals overall wellbeing while focusing on the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy while working with client's strengths to move towards achieving identified goals. I enjoy using humor and celebrating the little wins.
My Background and Approach
My clinical training and background is working with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, life transitions, and interpersonal issues in an outpatient setting. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, strengths based, mindfulness, and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
