About My Clients
I work well with someone who takes initiative, is motivated to work towards their treatment goals, and wants to learn about mental health. People who are open to feedback and discussion, and this goes both ways! It's very important that we are able to build a therapeutic bond, trust and respect with each other. Humor is appreciated in my sessions, I think laughter is a wonderful coping mechanism!
My Background and Approach
I am an LMSW, and before I was a therapist I worked as a school social worker, primarily assessing and treating ASD. I focus on making the therapeutic experience as comfortable and peaceful as possible, working to build a trusting relationship each session. I offer both telehealth services and office visits.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally do not tolerate bigotry and hate, and I hope to make my practice as inclusive and welcoming as possible.
