Do you struggle with overwhelming emotions or interpersonal relationships? You may be feeling scared, enraged, or even hopeless. Strong emotions can be frustrating and disorienting leading us to shut down. This makes it difficult to communicate with others, leaving you feeling even more alone. This pattern perpetuates a vicious cycle of shame and isolation. Maybe you've tried everything to feel better but when it doesn't work, you're left with more despair wondering if you'll ever feel better.
My Background and Approach
If this resonates with you, then I'd love to be your partner in this transformative journey of self-discovery and healing. Connection with others and self-acceptance are the medicine. It may feel impossible to get there, but that's because you can't do it alone. We are wired for connection and can't heal in isolation. Trauma, a difficult childhood, or painful adult relationships can affect our ability to connect with others starving us of vital emotional nourishment. I want to help you explore and remove barriers to connecting. In this collaborative process, there is space for playfulness, humor, creativity, as well as deep grief and raw emotion. I invite you to slow down, to engage with your present-moment experiences, and to gently uncover the parts of yourself yearning for attention and care - even those parts that feel unacceptable. Change is not only possible, it's inevitable. In addition to talk therapy, I offer expressive therapies which can involve movement, art, and music.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am LGBT+ affirming, feminist, sex positive, body positive, and comfortable with topics like non-monogamy and kink. I am trained in harm-reduction and psychedelic integration and am happy to help process and integrate psychedelic experiences.
