About My Clients
You're going through a life transition, and having a hard time seeing the way forward. You feel confused, disoriented, uncertain about the future, and grief for what was. You've been through something major-- and it seems like everyone expects you to just move on. But you feel stuck. How do you move forward when your vision seems blurry? Or when you haven't yet moved through the grief? How do you begin to believe in yourself and see possibilities again? I'm here to help.
My Background and Approach
Transitional spaces can be very lonely, and I believe no one should have to do this work alone. I work with clients holistically, encouraging mind, body, and emotions to support one another. I do my best to work in a way that supports clients from diverse backgrounds, and try to be aware of my own assumptions and biases. I also offer multiple avenues towards growth and insight, such as art and body work in addition to writing and talking. Through our work together you will: *Work through the grief of what was, and feel more joy for what life is offering you now. *Get clear on where in the transitions process you are, and use tools to help move yourself forward with purpose. *Become more aware of and grounded in your body, and learn how to better regulate your emotions and embrace uncertainty. *Move towards change and growth with kindness towards yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an advocate for body positivity and am Health at Every Size aligned. I'm also an ally for the queer community and an advocate for racial justice. I'm passionate about protecting our planet, animals, and marine life. I believe humans are transitioning now more than ever, and we need to learn this vital life skill.
