About My Clients
Using a trauma-informed approach, I center connection and collaboration in my work with adults and adolescents, focusing on identity discovery and integration of self. I primarily work with folks on topics surrounding Gender & Sexuality, Complex Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Sexual Assault. I am passionate about providing affirming care to queer and nonbinary folks.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, welcoming, and centered around you! I am a careful listener with a genuine interest and curiosity about the human experience. In our work together, I hope to create a space for discovery and expression as we walk together towards the most authentic and integrated version of self. Through openness and non-judgment, I strive to meet everyone where they are with empathy, compassion, and curiosity. My practice consists of CBT and DBT modalities, and when words aren't enough, art therapy exercises provide an alternate mode of expression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a white, non-binary therapist who strives to provide culturally responsive therapy. This means being aware of my own biases and background, approaching others with cultural humility and curiosity, while affirming their experiences and identities. Decolonizing therapy is important to me; I do my best to be aware of the oppressive systems in our society and their impact on all of us. These do not go unnoticed or unacknowledged in our therapeutic space.
