About My Clients
My clients are fierce warriors looking for support with their day-to-day and bigger life challenges. They understand that therapy is not about having me "solve" their problems; but rather it is an opportunity to look inward. Though this introspection, they begin to find ways towards self expression, self love, and self care.
My Background and Approach
In addition to my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, I also have Masters Degrees in Theatre and Education. I use my backgrounds in these various genres to connect whole-heartedly and specifically with each of my clients. I am dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing space for all people, where we can explore a holistic version of you. I am here to support you through the twists and turns of life; meeting you where you are currently in life. We will work together to explore your needs and craft your goals. I am looking forward to our journey together. I recognize the unique challenges that come with our day-to-day life commitments, as well as larger goals that may feel unattainable. My approach is tailored to address your specific needs, ensuring that you receive effective and personalized solutions. I will support you through every step of your journey with empathy, expertise, and a commitment to your success.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am fiercely dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, and serve their causes as frequently as possible. I work closely with Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS and have raised thousands of dollars for them via the Broadway and Touring shows I have been a part of. Additionally, I volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association, which is dear to my heart. My mother fought Alzheimer's ferociously, and I continue the fight in her memory and her honor. Education for all is very important to me. As a member of the New York City Teaching Fellows, I taught 5th grade in a hard-to-staff school in the Bronx. While there I was highlighted by the NY Department of Education as a "Model New Teacher of the Year".
