About My Clients

College and early adulthood can feel overwhelming. You might be juggling classes, work, family expectations, and your own hopes for the future, all while trying to figure out who you are. If that feels familiar, you are not alone. Many of my clients feel anxious, burnt out, or unsure of their next steps, and they come in wanting space to slow down, feel understood, and make changes that actually feel doable.

My Background and Approach

My approach is person-centered, which means I show up with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest without pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what you are carrying, and explore what might help you move forward. I also integrate practical cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you understand your patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build skills that support your goals. Sessions often include reflection, shared curiosity, and at times a few laughs. I take time to understand how you make sense of your experiences and what feels realistic for you in the moment. As a bilingual counselor, I am mindful of the cultural and identity-related layers that can shape stress and belonging, especially for Latino clients. I value helping people develop a clearer sense of direction and a more compassionate understanding of themselves.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m a bilingual Latina therapist who values authenticity, curiosity, and connection. I grew up speaking Spanish at home, which shaped my passion for supporting the Latinx community and making therapy more accessible. I care deeply about creating an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients, multicultural identities, and those navigating burnout, identity exploration, or major life transitions. I approach this work with warmth and collaboration, always aiming to meet clients where they are. My values around social justice, mental health advocacy, and self-compassion guide the way I work and connect with clients. I believe therapy is most healing when you feel seen and understood.
