About My Clients
My specialties include working with adults and children experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse, parenting and relationship concerns. I also have experience working with trauma, domestic violence and PTSD.
My Background and Approach
I have a Bachelors of Arts from Florida International University and a dual masters in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for over 10 years. I have experience working in community mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse and correctional facilities. My preferred approaches include cognitive behavioral, solution focused and person centered therapy. I enjoy working with clients their own pace. We will work together to set realistic goals that work for you. Taking this first step of seeking out services takes courage and I'll be here to support you along the way.
