About My Clients

Do you constantly feel like your mind won't slow down? Maybe you replay conversations, worry about things that haven't happened yet, or feel anxious even when you know everything is okay. You might be exhausted from carrying the weight of your thoughts on your own. Together, we'll learn practical tools to help you quiet the anxiety and feel more in control so you can enjoy life instead of simply getting through it.

My Background and Approach

My goal is to help you not only feel better in the moment but also develop lasting skills that you can rely on long after therapy ends. Together, we'll identify what's contributing to your current challenges and create practical, personalized strategies that fit your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness, and play therapy to help clients process difficult experiences, manage anxiety and depression, improve self-esteem, and build healthier coping skills. Whether we're working through past trauma or managing overwhelming emotions, I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment where healing feels possible. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools they need to confidently face life's challenges.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is possible, even when life has been painful or overwhelming. While we can't always change what has happened to us, we can learn new ways to understand ourselves better and move forward with greater confidence and resilience. I also believe that progress isn't about becoming "perfect." It's about learning to navigate life's challenges with healthier coping skills and greater self-compassion. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, I understand that our experiences, families, and cultures shape how we view ourselves and the world. I appreciate the courage it takes to ask for help, especially when vulnerability may not have always felt safe. I believe that seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness—it's an act of courage and self-care.
