My Background and Approach
I am passionate about working with teens and adults with a history of childhood trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and attachment issues. I'm trained in Traumatic Incident Reduction, Circle of Security, TF-CBT, and I am certified as a Brain Health Coach. I also work with adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety and self-harm. I pride myself in searching for answers that are "outside the box." There are many approaches out there that are not commonly used. I believe there is always hope and there is always something else to try. If you are struggling with your own mental health issues and/or of those you love, taking the difficult first step to reach out for help may be life changing. Life is challenging and learning how to cope with its down side can help not only ourselves but those that we love. I'm here to help you in your journey so you can feel better .
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there is always hope as there is always something else to try. My passion is to help those with a history of trauma to find peace. I enjoy reading and expanding my knowledge so I can always improve as a professional and as a human being. I'm always thankful for my clients for helping me grow through their experiences not only professionally but personally.
