Working with students can be a truly rewarding experience, helping them develop coping skills, overcome challenges, and build resilience. My Background and Approach
I have a background in the healing arts, and after 17 years of being a body worker, I transitioned to mental health. I focus on somatic therapy, or body-oriented approach, and help you identify how you _are_ in your lived expereince. I can assist you in self discovery, teach you new tools for self acceptance, and help you build stronger self-esteem, and resiliency. I offer compassionate caring to clients seeking tools for increased coping, greater self-understanding and relief from emotional distress. I provide a safe and gentle environment where I welcome the exploration of your struggles and concerns. I will support you in finding practical solutions so that you can gain deeper awareness and develop new ways of responding to challenging circumstances. Life’s complexities can sometimes feel overwhelming, I would love to help facilitate an increase in your capacity to harmonize stress by reclaiming more peace and compassion in your life.
