My Background and Approach
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. Some issues benefit more from other types of therapy, and some issues benefit more from supportive therapy, gaining strength from knowing you are not alone when coping with issues of infertility or adoption.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person deserves respect and brings value to our world. I believe that diversity helps the world be a more interesting place. I believe that all families and family members are to be respected, whether coming together in a traditional or non-traditional way. There are a variety of paths to family building, and love and support are the most important qualities for successful relationships and raising children. I believe that the paths to family building can bring challenges and struggles, and that therapy can be a support to help individuals and couples as they move forward towards their goals.
