About My Clients
You may be thoughtful, self-aware, and successful in many areas of your life, yet still find yourself overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or repeating relationship patterns that leave you frustrated. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My clients often want to feel more confident, communicate more clearly, trust themselves more, and stop getting pulled into the same patterns.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is direct, practical, and collaborative. I’m not someone who simply sits back and nods while you talk. I’ll help you look at the patterns, beliefs, and relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck, while also giving you concrete tools to respond differently. I draw from CBT, attachment-based therapy, IFS, EFT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative, and psychodynamic approaches, tailoring therapy to what will actually be useful for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, challenged, supported, and understood without feeling judged. Insight matters, but insight alone is not enough. The goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly, trust yourself more, communicate differently, and make changes that show up outside the therapy room. I also believe good therapy should feel collaborative rather than formulaic. You are not a diagnosis or a checklist, and therapy should reflect the complexity of your life, relationships, history, and goals.
