About My Clients
Most of my clients are carrying more than feels manageable, and it has been this way for a long time. On the surface, life may look functional, but internally there is tension, fatigue, autoimmune flares, or a sense of always being on alert. It may feel hard to fully relax, trust your body, or feel at ease in relationships. Closeness can feel comforting one moment and overwhelming or draining the next. They often long for relief, clarity, and a steadier way of being in life and relationships.
My Background and Approach
We begin by meeting what feels most pressing, with the initial focus is on support and stabilization. This may look like slowing things down, making sense of what is happening, and helping you feel steadier so daily life feels more manageable and less reactive. As that foundation builds, the work naturally deepens. Patterns that once helped you cope but now feel limiting can be explored with care. Over time, emotional reactions often soften, self-doubt eases, and relationships can begin to feel less confusing or exhausting. Communication becomes clearer, boundaries more natural, and connection less effortful. As internal balance grows, many people also notice shifts in how stress shows up in the body. Physical tension, fatigue, or other stress-related symptoms often become easier to understand and work with as the system is no longer stuck in constant survival mode. Emotional and physical experiences are are approached as connected, rather than separate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own experiences healing myself through pain and loss sparked a love for helping people like you to heal. I have since worked in private practice with a trauma-informed, holistic approach. I combine mind-body, evidence-based methods to help my clients create long-term mental and emotional healing. I don't heal my clients, because healing is not something that is done to you. Change happens through your own insight, capacity, and lived experience, supported by a steady and attuned therapeutic relationship. My role is to offer guidance, perspective, and tools while creating the conditions that allow deeper patterns to shift. If you learned early on to keep emotions contained to maintain connection or avoid conflict, expressing sadness, anger, or disappointment may feel unfamiliar or vulnerable at first. Our therapy offers the opportunity to explore these emotions at your own pace and to learn how to listen to them rather than push them away.
