About My Clients
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, and life transitions. Clients often feel overwhelmed, unseen, or stuck. I bring humor, creativity, wisdom, and a deeply human approach to therapy. As an artist, I value expression and authenticity, offering a warm space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a professional artist, and that creative perspective continues to shape how I connect with clients. My work is rooted in a person-centered approach—trust, respect, and collaboration come first. I also integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) when helpful, always adapting to the individual. My style is compassionate, grounded, and creative, offering space to feel understood, explore challenges, and move toward growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel truly seen and accepted for who they are. I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, and I see humor as a powerful tool for connection and healing. My background as an artist shapes the creative lens I bring to my work and life. Outside of sessions, I love painting, drawing, practicing yoga, keeping bees, and growing butterfly gardens. My four boys, dogs, and pigs happily take up the rest of my time, while I still find joy in the small, everyday moments that keep me grounded and inspired.
