About My Clients
On paper, you’ve accomplished a lot. By most accounts, you’re a success. You have your own business, you started a company, you’re a therapist with your own private practice, or you’re a creative – an artist, a writer, a performer. You’re independent, self-made in many ways. Like I said, your resume is impressive. What isn’t so visible is the fear, the anxiety, the self-criticism, the perfectionism. The struggles with how your brain may work differently than others. You drive yourself
My Background and Approach
Your resumé is a part of you. A part. I’m going to help you recognize and develop those other vital parts. The parts that got left behind while you were being a success on paper. I’ll be your guide, the person who sees and helps you to value who you are. I’ll help you get clarity on what exactly is going on, why you aren’t enjoying your life the way you want to. Getting unstuck and out of the ditch you’ve somehow driven into, and back on the road moving forward in your life. I’ll help with some things that are often struggles for independent and creative professionals like yourself – managing stress, self-acceptance, self-compassion, managing uncomfortable feelings like anxiety. Even successful people often have a hard time with communicating effectively and being assertive with co-workers, employees, and loved ones. Identifying needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a therapist with over 3 decades of experience. An integrative therapist who values knowing about your past to understand how this all started, what kicked it off, as well as providing practical and specific suggestions for the present. The past informs the present but it doesn’t have to rule your future. I’m down to earth, straight forward guide. Your GPS course corrector if you will, to help you see what are the roadblocks and how to dismantle them. My clients are psychotherapists with their own private practice, founders of companies, writers, artists, performers, musicians. Different professions, but a common experience of having a great CV and feeling like a fraud. Worrying it will slip away. Difficulty in taking care of themselves.
