About My Clients
I work best with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burned out and are ready for change, even if they’re unsure where to start. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, substance use, or feeling disconnected from what matters to them. They are often capable, thoughtful people who have spent years coping on their own and are now looking for a supportive, practical, and values-based approach to therapy that helps them build a more meaningful and workable life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience working in residential and outpatient treatment settings. My background includes supporting adults navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, burnout, and major life transitions. I bring a calm, grounded presence to therapy and focus on building a strong, collaborative relationship where clients feel heard and respected. My approach is client-centered, practical, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rather than focusing on “fixing” thoughts or emotions, we work on increasing awareness, flexibility, and values-driven action. I help clients develop skills to relate differently to difficult internal experiences while taking meaningful steps toward the life they want. Therapy with me is active, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s goals and pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are not broken—they are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Meaningful change happens in the context of safety, honesty, and compassion. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in real life, not perfection. Growth doesn’t come from eliminating pain, but from learning how to respond to it with flexibility, courage, and alignment with what truly matters.
