About My Clients
At Chicagoland Neuropsychology, I provide counseling services in Oak Park for children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges. Services are designed to support those who struggle in school, experience anxiety, or have difficulty with social interactions. I also help individuals dealing with low motivation, depression, behavioral issues, as well as those with ADHD and learning disorders. My goal is to offer comprehensive care to address these concerns and improve overall well-being.
My Background and Approach
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work as a clinician within schools, which has given me a unique perspective on supporting children and adolescents as they navigate the many changes and challenges of life. I am deeply committed to helping young people develop the skills and resilience needed to thrive emotionally and socially. By integrating therapeutic relationships with a variety of treatment modalities and evidence-based techniques—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy—I can customize support for those facing challenges with depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, low self-esteem, trauma, and grief.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that lasting change begins when individuals feel heard and are able to share their stories without fear of judgment. Relationships built on trust and acceptance are the foundation of the therapeutic process. Ultimately, I believe the therapeutic process ought be a positive and collaborative experience in which people feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore improved mental and emotional well-being. Together, with authenticity, compassion, and humor, we will navigate an individualized plan of care to achieve your treatment goals.
