About My Clients
Since 1991, I have been working with adolescents, adults, and couples who seek counseling services for a variety of issues. My areas of specialty include substance abuse/addiction disorders, family and addiction recovery, codependency, depression, anxiety disorders, relationship/marital stressors/divorce.
My Background and Approach
I do realize that therapy is a process which can be both challenging and scary, so I will always use your comfort level as my guide to help you explore and work through life's struggles. My approach to treatment is individually tailored; I blend elements from different treatment approaches and will customize treatment according to each client's needs. My vision is to provide a safe space where clients can find guidance and support in resolving conflicts and challenges, improving personal relationships and strengthening ones mental health. I have been practicing for 30 years, and I am licensed in both Maryland and South Carolina.
