About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel right. They may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries. I work well with motivated clients who want both space to process their experiences and practical tools to help them feel more confident, communicate more clearly, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe being honest about what you’re experiencing while also focusing on tangible progress. One of the questions I ask often in session is, “Okay, so what are we going to do about it?” I want clients to leave therapy not only feeling heard, but also with tools and strategies they can apply in their daily lives. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building skills for emotional regulation, communication, and boundary setting. I can provide therapy in Spanish and Portuguese and value creating a space that is culturally responsive and respectful of each client’s background. I also feel comfortable exploring religion and spirituality in therapy for clients who want to include those parts of their identity in their work.
