About My Clients
I am trained in play therapy to specialize in counseling children. This practice aims at nurturing children's self-esteem, their relationships with others, and essential social-emotional skills. I help parents identify their personal parenting philosophy and style to integrate them into the disciplinary practice suitable for their children. I also love supporting families going through significant and/or long-term treatment of physical illnesses.
My Background and Approach
My view of people is rooted in Systems Theory and a bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective. It is also congruent with the therapeutic approaches that I utilize in counseling adults, couples, and families such as Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. It would be my honor to join your journey of seeking changes for yourself and relationships with your loved ones. I appreciate your courage and openness in choosing to come into therapy.
