About My Clients
My clients are adults across Texas who are tired of anxiety making their decisions. Some are caught in loops of intrusive thoughts, checking, or reassurance seeking. Some are bracing for the next panic attack, or worrying about every new sensation in their body. Others look steady on the outside but can't switch off on the inside. Many have tried to think their way out of it, and it hasn't worked.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in mental health and hospital settings. That work taught me that the mind and body don't work separately, so I pay attention to sleep, movement, and daily routines alongside evidence-based treatment. I'm EMDR-certified through EMDRIA and trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through the International OCD Foundation. For OCD, ERP helps you break the cycle of checking, avoiding, and reassurance seeking, in small steps that feel doable. EMDR and Brainspotting help when past experiences are still fueling the anxiety. I also have experience working with trauma, so your history is part of the work when it matters. Sessions balance practical tools with space to talk things through. I'll explain the reasoning behind what we're doing, and we'll move at a pace that fits you, so you leave with something useful, not just more insight.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when we take things step by step, without rushing into difficult topics before you're ready. I'm a supporter of LGBTQ+ rights and women's rights. I live a plant-based lifestyle and am an animal lover. In my spare time, you'll find me at the gym lifting heavy weights, which is a big part of how I care for my own mental health, or gardening and playing with my dachshund.
