About My Clients
You're exhausted from holding it all together. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, and OCD. My clients are often high-achieving people who look like they have it all together on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside. As a recovering anxious perfectionist myself, I know firsthand how exhausting it can be. Getting help isn't a sign of weakness; it's one of the bravest things you can do.
My Background and Approach
When you work with me, we'll slow down enough to figure out what's really keeping you stuck, then build tools that actually fit your life. I draw from several modalities including CBT, DBT, and ACT and tailor everything to you. I am also currently completing advance OCD training because this population deserves a therapist who really gets it. I offer telehealth throughout Illinois, so you can show up to sessions from wherever feels right. Telehealth provides a convenient and effective means to support your personal growth. My background is primarily based in community mental health, crisis, and private practice. This background allows me to create space for whatever topic you may want to bring in the room. Each session is designed specifically for you, focusing on your goals, your pace, and your journey. This personalized attention ensures that you feel heard and supported as you work towards a healthier, more balanced life.
My Values as a Therapist
As a Licensed Clinical Social worker, a lot of my approach is often rooted in looking at systems in your life that may be impacting your mental health. For example, are you feeling unique pressure as a first-generation college student? Having difficulty navigating finances in today's economic climate? Dealing with conflict in a relationship? Whatever it may be, I hold space for that and together we will work towards navigating and growing from it. As a social worker I am an active member of NASW member and proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, equal rights for all, health at every size, and individual autonomy. My goal is simple: to create a space where you can feel safe, respected, and supported exactly as you are.
