Accepting Clients

Hi! I offer a queer and neurodivergent-affirming space because healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about coming home to yourself.

About My Clients

My clients often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted from masking who they are. They may wonder, “Is this really who I am or the life I want?” Many are exploring their identity, including gender or sexuality, or are part of the LGBTQ+ community. I support clients ages 14+, with a focus on teens, college students, and adults navigating self exploration, anxiety, trauma, depression, neurodivergence, people-pleasing, relationship concerns, substance use, and life transitions.

My Background and Approach

In my office, therapy doesn't feel stiff or formal; you can expect genuine conversations where you don't have to say the "right" thing or know exactly how you feel. You're invited to take up space, ramble, laugh, cry, curse, fidget, and finally unmask. Research has shown the best predictor of client success is the strength of the therapeutic relationship (aka - feeling seen, safe, and accepted). So, let's start there. I honor this by creating a space where you can trust that you'll be met with acceptance and curiosity every single session. As we go, therapy is tailored to you, with interventions thoughtfully chosen to support the goals you set for yourself. I empowering clients to get curious about their patterns and experiences, approach themselves with greater compassion, and then create space for new ways of being that feel more authentic. My most used modalities are IFS (internal family systems), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-focused therapy (EFT).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer therapist with anxiety, I get. Starting therapy takes courage. I bring empathy and authenticity rooted in lived experience. I’m not here to be a perfect expert with all the answers; I’m here as a real person who understands that the healing process is messy, nonlinear, and yet so liberating. I believe Carl Rogers, a significant figure in the world of therapy, described therapy best when he said, “In my early professional years I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: "How can I provide a relationship for which this person may use for their own personal growth?” You are welcome here, just as you are. I offer free 15-minute consultations to make sure you feel comfortable and supported before we begin. Wherever this journey leads, we'll face it together!
