I found that CBT really resonated with me and my natural style. I have found that most of the time we are our own worst critic. When people struggle with anxiety or depression, it is often from their inner dialogue that puts them down and thinks even the smallest things are drastic. With CBT, we can look at those deeper thoughts that may be keeping you from feeling your best and can find gentle and supportive ways to creatively challenge them so that you can make the dark side go away.
In 2014 I was trained in EMDR and found how amazing it is both personally and professionally. I have seen huge transformations and growth happen with EMDR, and so I continue to use it regularly with clients and continue to get advanced training in it. While EMDR is a very powerful therapy for people that have experienced trauma, it also drastically helps reduce anxiety and can uplift depressed moods.

I am a trauma specialist and have a ton of training and knowledge in trauma and PTSD. I trained through Postpartum Support International (PSI) after personal experience with postpartum mood disorders. I am a mother of 3, 2 of which are identical twins. I have become a twin expert and focus my practice on supporting other moms of twins so they can learn to embrace the chaos and really enjoy their kids. I'm familiar with many struggles and hardships women go through from infertility, high risk pregnancy, traumatic births and adjusting to mamahood.
