About My Clients
I work with adolescents (13+) and adults with various concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions or stressors. My primary speciality is in sustainable use of technology, social media, gaming, and pornography. I am passionate about helping people re-connect with the world around them and create more joy within their lives. I work with clients from various backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. I am excited to help you with your goals, whatever those may be!
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative and adaptive to the unique needs of of my clients. I lean on a client-centered lens and utilize evidenced-based techniques and modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT). I am trauma-informed, culturally conscious, and LGTBQIA+ affirming. I believe that you as the client, are the expert in your own life. I approach therapy as a journey in which client and therapist walk together. I may present tools and suggestions for areas of growth but will always respect your autonomy to decide how we do this work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My role as a counselor is to help clients find healing and acceptance for all parts of themselves. My approach is one of curiosity, empowerment, and growth that aligns with each person’s needs. I believe meaningful therapeutic work occurs when people experience an environment of safety and acceptance while simultaneously being encouraged and challenged.
